Different responsibilities need different coverage questions

Ownership, hiring practices, employee benefit plans and financial controls are not interchangeable risks. Your selected coverages determine which parts of the application apply; requesting one does not automatically include the others.

  • Directors and officers

Describe the business's ownership, leadership, financial position and requested limits for a management liability review.

  • Employment practices

Share your workforce, hiring and employment policies, and relevant claims. Contractor arrangements may require additional details.

  • Benefit plans and financial controls

For fiduciary coverage, identify the plans and how they are administered. For crime coverage, describe money handling, safeguards and prior losses.

  • Separate from professional liability

Liability for the professional services you provide is a separate need, with its own application.

Questions we get asked

Do I need all four coverage parts?

No. Directors and officers, employment practices, fiduciary and crime coverage address different exposures. Select the coverage parts you want reviewed; their availability and terms are assessed separately.

Is coverage available for every organization and state?

No. Availability depends on the coverage part, state, organization and underwriting requirements. Some markets focus on privately held companies and have state restrictions. This application is not a guarantee that every market will consider your business.

Is this the same as professional liability?

No. Liability arising from the professional services you provide is a separate coverage need. Use the professional liability application to describe those services.

Does finishing the form give me a quote or coverage?

No. The form collects information for broker review; it does not automatically deliver a carrier application, provide an instant price or put coverage in force. Supporting documents, underwriting and any binding requirements still need to be completed.
