Business Insurance Cost Calculator
Pick your industry, team size, and the coverages you need to see a realistic monthly premium range, built on published small-business premium medians.
How these estimates work
The baseline for each coverage is the median monthly premium paid by small businesses nationally, from Insureon's published data on roughly 40,000 customer policies. For example, general liability runs about $45 per month at the median and a business owner's policy about $83. The calculator then adjusts for your industry's risk class (a construction trade pays roughly twice what a consulting firm pays for the same liability limits), your headcount, and your revenue, and shows a ±30% range for typical variation in limits and claims history. State matters even more: high-cost states like California, New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Hawaii can run 1.5x to 2.5x the national median.
